General properties of antennas AN-xN
Antennas AN – xN are designed to receive signals from the command transmitter from the blind people. The antennas are designed to connect to the command receivers by EPNEV series 1.x, 2.x, 3.x a 4.x. All our antennas for command receivers are designed so that receiver configuration with command EPNEV correspond to:
“Generalised Licence No. VO-R/10/03.2007-4 from 5th 3rd 2007 for the use of radio frequencies and operation of short range devices, Article 15″
ČTÚ (Czech Telecommunication Office) issued signaling systems for the blind.
Operating frequency of the supplied antennas is 86.790 MHz. The power cable is used for antenna coaxial cable RG-58 with which it is possible in the case antennas AN-1N choose the length according to customer requirements.

Nákres antény AN1N
Antenna body of type AN-1N is wound on ERTALON rod. The body is very resistant to mechanical damage. Antenna type AN-1N is made in several versions that differ mainly in structural elements such as casting connector, holder is used etc.
Requirements for the installation of antennas AN-1Nx
In order to guarantee all parameters of antennas to receive the signal, it must be complied for mounting antennas following points:
- antenna should not be placed in a metal, a closed cabinet
- front of the antenna must not contain large metal surfaces
- mounting distance of at least 15 cm from metal surfaces
- antenna must not be obstructed by metal foil
- suitable locations in the rail car (tram)) :
- Driving cab station – the area above the driver’s head
- Driving cab station – cabin wall behind the driver’s
- other locations in the vehicle should be consulted
| Failure to comply with above points can be no assurance given properties of antennas for signal reception and their functionality. |

Flat antenna for command receiver for the blind – AN-2N
Flat antenna type AN-2N are newly developed to replace the existing antenna type AN-1N. They have better features than the previous type. It is produced in several versions, which differ from each other mainly in the way location. Antenna cable can not be shorten – antennas are factory tuned according to the cable length.

In order to guarantee all parameters of antennas to receive the signal, it must be complied for mounting antennas following points:
- antenna should not be placed in a metal, a closed cabinet
- front of the antenna must not contain large metal surfaces
- mounting distance of at least 15 cm from metal surfaces
- antenna must not be obstructed by metal foil
- suitable locations in vehicles :
- stuck to the windshield of the vehicle (bottom right or top left)
- from underneath the dashboard vehicles about 15 cm away from metal objects
- other locations in the vehicle should be consulted
Failure to comply with above points can be no assurance given properties of antennas for signal reception and their functionality.

d. AN-2NPW – Combined antenna command receiver with Wi-Fi on the information panels
This combined antenna is designed primarily for informational panels supplied by us. In one body antennas are two antennas, one for receiving the signal from the blind people from command series receiver blind people EPNEV and the second antenna is designed to communicate via Wi-Fi at 5,8 GHz frequency. The antenna is integrated into the cover tube. Color design according to request.
